GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announces that the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina has procured GIS software from GTG. The City is upgrading 29 seats of LGviewer and LGweb, and one seat of LGaddress to the ArcGIS Server environment. This upgrade will enhance the City’s ability to serve its citizens.
LG Geo Blade Viewer provides a set of GIS tools in a simple, easy-to-use desktop application. It allows for visualization of land management information such as utility meters, occupational licenses, work orders, building permits, and code enforcement violations. Local government professionals have long desired the ability to map and analyze the spatial distribution of all data that is tracked within their enterprise IT systems. LG Geo Blade Viewer is designed to GIS-enable corporate databases in tandem with existing GIS data to provide a powerful set of tools for visualization and analysis.
LG Geo Blade Web is a user-friendly, simplistic interface designed for public use. It includes a simple click function for identifying GIS features and their attributes. This easy-to-use application allows for customized searches and PDF printing for custom print layouts.
LG Geo Blade Address allows users to maintain address points, pass valuable GIS data to their land database, and ensures a 100% match rate. The application includes an auto address recommendation for new address points.
“Our ArcGIS Server software is ‘second to none’ in the industry,” said David Holdstock, President of GTG. “The City of Jacksonville is using the latest and greatest products.”
