22nd February 2008, Cambridge, UK.  The early bird registration rate for 1Spatial Conference delegates is only available on registrations completed on or before the 1st March. Booking before this date guarantees your place at this year’s premier spatial data management event for just £395 (full price £495).

With a strong list of sponsors from across the IT and geospatial industry, the 1Spatial Conference 2008 is set to deliver a comprehensive learning package for everyone working with spatial data. Based around the theme of ‘1 Source of Truth’, the conference will highlight issues such as data quality and data integration.

The conference learning experience will be complemented by a number of workshops and seminars which will be running throughout the conference including a Software Usability Lab, sponsored by HP, and a Data Quality Health Check Lab, hosted by independent consultants and leading Radius Studio Practitioners Salford GIS.  A seminar on the INSPIRE directive, hosted by Robin Waters, Chair of the AGI Working Group for INSPIRE will also be running as a precursor event on Tuesday 29th April. Following the seminar, Rob Walker, Independent Consultant and 2008 Chair of AGI, who is also a Member of AGI Working Group on INSPIRE, will be running a workshop highlighting the Implementing Rules for metadata and how metadata issues can be addressed by organisations responsible for datasets that may be affected by INSPIRE.
