Location Intelligence 2008 Agenda Exposes Geospatial Successes
Conference Program Highlights the Champions of Location Intelligent Companies & Organizations
February 1, 2008 - Santa Clara, CA - Directions Media today unveils the preliminary agenda for its 2008 Location Intelligence Conference to be held in Santa Clara, California, April 28-30. The two and one-half day event includes presentations with a laser focus on success, measured in dollars, from the use of geospatial and related enabling technologies. New elements suggested by attendee feedback pervade the agenda as well as updated iterations of successful features from past events. The complete agenda, as well as registration information, can be found at www.locationintelligence.net/agenda.
The highlight of this year’s event will be the addition of eight specially selected distinguished speakers who will provide details of their successful implementations. They are charged with sharing insights into how their solutions transformed their organization’s work, increased profit and/or cut costs. Attendees will bring home proven techniques that they can apply in their own organizations from a variety of industries including media, telecommunications, real estate, retail, energy companies and government.
Because this conference has gained a reputation as a key business-to-business networking opportunity, conference chair Joe Francica has pushed that aspect to the fore. “We want our attendees, exhibitors and sponsors to begin interacting with one another as soon as possible, so we’ve scheduled a dedicated networking session at the start. We will use it as a platform to explore social networking and its relationship to local search and location-based advertising, tools that are already becoming part of today’s business arsenal.”
Attendees will also participate in technical workshops, panels on emerging technologies, and breakout sessions on topics including finance, real estate and insurance, local government and the enterprise. Attendees will also have dedicated time to visit with exhibitors and sponsors offering a variety of core and enabling technologies. Directions Media is pleased to announce Microsoft as the Premiere Sponsor of this year’s event.
The conference organizers encourage early registration, which includes a $200 discount until February 29, 2008. Register at: http://www.locationintelligence.net/registration/ Limited exhibit space is still available. Details are available at http://www.locationintelligence.net/exhibitor.information or contact Jane Elliott for more information.
