Exor Streets Ahead on TMA Compliance. Officially!

Bristol, UK 23rd January 2008 – According to a market research study conducted by Surveyor Magazine, the UK’s leading publication for Highway Professionals, identified Exor Corporation as the clear market leader in providing technical solutions for the UK’s Traffic Management Act (TMA).

The survey identified the market sensitivity of Local Authorities and Utility organisations readiness for TMA compliance by asking those professionals who are users of TMA solutions a variety of questions from confidence in the solution of IT providers, through to their own organisations preparedness for the 1st April 2008 deadline.

One element of the independent survey questioned organisations who will be using IT TMA solutions had confidence their IT provider would hit the 1st April 2008 deadline.

Of those who responded stating they ‘strongly agree or agree’ Exor achieved an impressive confident ranking of 79% from their user base. Comparing the same results to Exor’s three main UK rivals each polling a pitiful 50%, 37% and 35%. Their own user base clearly lack confidence in them as a TMA solution provider. Once the results are further analysed this gives Exor 38 percentage points above the  average of its main competition!

Throughout the survey Exor consistently topped each ranking clearly out performing any other IT TMA solution provider in the UK, making Exor not only the TMA provider of choice but clearly the market leader for TMA solutions – Officially.

The survey went on to question users if they had confidence in their IT provider being able to deliver a solution to the DfT’s technical specification. 65% of Exor’s client base strongly agree or agree. The three other providers ranked a second-rate 42%, 42% and 27% from their own user base.

“What’s worrying for works promoters out there is the major disconnect that exists to what some TMA solution providers are saying publicly to what the reality is on the ground. Some providers are claiming to have advanced solutions, but when end users are asked about these companies the reality is a clear lack of confidence in all but one TMA provider.”

Every Street Works professional in England and Wales was invited to participate in an independently ran market survey of IT suppliers for TMA. The survey was conducted by Surveyor Magazine between the 7th December 2007 – 21st December 2007.
