GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Mark your calendars!  Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) is planning more training courses for 2008.  Courses offered include; Introduction to ArcGIS I and II, department specific courses (GIS for Planning, GIS for Crime Analysis, GIS for Hazard Mitigation, etc.) and the popular GIS Manager’s Workshop that is now being offered nationwide.

Originally created for GTG’s grand opening in early December, the GIS Manager’s Workshop generated an incredible amount of interest, prompting GTG’s owners, Curt Hinton and David Holdstock, to take the workshop on the road.  Hinton and Holdstock plan on visiting over ten cities throughout the year.

Also offered by GTG is ESRI certified ArcGIS I and II training.  ArcGIS I will be offered September 15-16, and ArcGIS II will be offered September 22-24.  Both courses will take place in GTG’s brand new, state-of-the-art training facility.  The new training center accommodates up to ten students and is furnished with brand new computers available to each student.

“Our team is working diligently to plan courses and workshops that are relevant to our client’s needs,” said Curt Hinton, CEO of GTG.  “The new training center is a resourceful tool in educating GIS professionals both locally and nationally.  We are equally excited about taking our material nationwide, as we take our GIS Manager’s Workshop on the road.”
