TNTmips Combines WMS Layers with Local Geodata

TNTmips and the other TNT products from MicroImages can display one or more layers from geodata published on the Internet by any OGC-compliant Web Map Service (WMS). Layers published by several different WMSs can be combined and used with local geodata you have in a wide variety of popular formats (e.g. shapefile, DXF, DWG, MrSID, JP2, GeoTIFF, and many more). MicroImages continuously searches the worldwide web and updates a catalog database of all the geodata layers published by any WMS. These layers can be displayed alone or in combination with other WMS or local layers. Geographic, subject, and other searches of this catalog are directly integrated into the TNT Display process and enable you to locate, select, and add WMS layers to your current view on Windows, Unix, Linux, and Mac OS X platforms. For details see the reference page at www.microimages.com/press/wms.htm.
