FIRM PROMOTES PROMINENT ENGINEER
Yoder Named Regional Business Unit Manager
SARASOTA, Fla./July 31, 2007 — WilsonMiller Vice President and Principal Millard J. Yoder, P.E., has been appointed Regional Manager of the firm’s Development Design Business Unit. Yoder will oversee the business unit’s operations in Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Highlands, Manatee, and
Sarasota counties.
Development Design, one of 10 corporate business units under WilsonMiller’s corporate umbrella, provides customized services from a variety of specialized disciplines. It performs design, engineering, and permitting services for water systems, infrastructure, roadways, and many other projects.
A registered Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.), Yoder has more than 27 years of civil engineering experience.

Michael Bell, P.E., a WilsonMiller Senior Vice President and Principal who heads the firm’s Development Design Business Unit. “His expertise, combined with his leadership and management skills, make him the ideal choice to head our Development Design operations in our upper
Southwest Florida region.”
Yoder, who is based in WilsonMiller’s Sarasota office, has been responsible for the design and management of many of the firm’s major projects in
Sarasota and Manatee counties. He served as project manager for the VillageWalk residential development, numerous projects at
Sarasota
Memorial
Hospital’s main and Care Center East campuses, and the Ritz-Carlton hotel, beach club, and golf course. He is currently involved in the site design of the Sarasota Bayside, the Southgate Mall Additions, and redevelopment of the former Winn-Dixie warehouse site.
Yoder also takes an active role in professional and community organizations. A 1992 graduate of Leadership Sarasota, he is a past president of the Suncoast Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and Florida Engineering Society (FES). He also serves on the board of the Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness and is active on the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce City Legislative Issues Subcommittee.
