The City of Natchitoches, Louisiana Selects Geographic Technologies Group (GTG) to Implement GIS Software Solutions

The City will be implementing LGfires to better serve the City.LGfires is a simple, easy-to-use GIS software product seamlessly integrated into Natchitoches’ existing fire incident data. It offers the fire departments refined spatial tools required in today’s high-tech world. LGfires allows an end-user to generate plumes to predict hazardous material impact areas. The user can pick from a variety of atmospheric conditions, wind direction/speed and emission rates to create a hazard zone. It offers fire department staff refined spatial tools for analyzing fire incidents, patterns, and emergency situations. LGFires is an ESRI GIS based mapping tool for the visualization and analysis of incidents stored within the Fires database.
