GeoAge FAST Software Expands Import/Export Capabilities

July 3, 2007 — GeoAge, a leading supplier of mobile automation solutions, has
released a new version of FAST™ (Field Adapted Survey Toolkit), a software
program designed to rapidly capture data and respond effectively with instant
mapping and reporting. FAST 3.3 adds critical import / export capabilities
designed to enable users to gain more flexibility in rapid data collection, reporting
and mapping applications.
“FAST 3.3’s ability to directly export data to SQL servers meets the growing

added power to import and merge existing data from Microsoft Access, FAST
now handles business process issues from department level to global
enterprise.”
Since its introduction in 2005, FAST has enabled unparalleled capability for
mobile data collection. FAST software was designed for rapid deployment of
“digital forms” using Windows PDAs, laptop or tablet mobile computers. FAST
also allows easy integration of GPS locations, photographs, videos and digital
signatures with custom forms. Users can implement large-scale FAST data
collection solutions and be productive on the same day.
FAST 3.3’s main enhancements:
• Export FAST data directly to Microsoft SQL servers
• Import existing data from Microsoft Access to FAST
• Export and merge FAST data from multiple surveys into one CSV file

FAST’s designer component allows existing forms to be customized or new
forms to be quickly created. The form creation capability is excellent for rapid
response and field data collection.
The prior release of FAST 3.2 (May 9, 2007) added key performance capabilities
that strengthened project management through improved data visualization and
summarizing.
