Longview, TX– Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announced today that the City of Opelika, Alabama has procured software and services from GTG. The City purchased LGmobile and LGdispatch with LGcommunity connect.
LGdispatch and LGmobile are Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) mapping interfaces that provides E-911 dispatchers and first responders with an interactive map displaying the location of all emergency calls. LGdispatch and LGmobile offer advanced geo-coding capabilities. Addresses can be validated against address points, polygons (tax parcels) and lines (road network).
LGcommunity connect is a GIS software solution that allows both
HTE
Land and Public Safety users to integrate AVL with LG software.
The software allows GPS enabled vehicles to be tracked via the GIS interface.
It takes GPS data from vehicles and places a moving map symbol on the GIS map interface that corresponds to the vehicles location in the real world.
Historical AVL information is maintained with the product.
