Freeway Can Now Be Delivered With Any Street Network

Falls Church, VA, 24-April-2007 - Applied Spatial Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of the Freeway Drive Time Analysis System with client-provided street networks.

Freeway is an application that is used to generate drive time polygons and perform origin-destination drive time modeling.  Drive time analysis is used to derive accurate demographics around a site and to model drive time and drive distance from one location to another.

Customized versions of Freeway can now be delivered using road networks provided by clients, enabling drive time analyses to be performed worldwide, wherever licensed networks have proper attribution.  Attribution of the network, used to dictate road types, is used by Freeway to define travel speeds and drive times.  Applied Spatial Technology will be providing the custom data loads as a service.

“We’re pleased to announce the availability of this service,” said Don Segal, President of AST. He continues, “This will enable clients to quickly and accurately perform drive time analyses virtually anyplace - worldwide - where road network coverage exists.”

Costs for custom data loads are based on the geographic coverage required, and the complexity of the road network.  Please call Applied Spatial Technology for a quote.
